Upon request- if you are away, you can request that a Security Officer takes out and puts back your wheelie bins on collection days.

If you are going on holiday or your home is going to be vacant for an extended period, we offer special surveillance packages so that you do not need to worry about the security of your home.
Wheelie bins have become a common feature outside our homes. Unfortunately, they are often targeted by criminals as they signal your property is vacant. Our team can take care of this for you, putting your bins in and out before and after collection.
Upon request, our officers can also collect packages and post whilst you are away.

Enhanced First Response Service
The Hadley Wood Security Scheme’s primary role is to protect members and their personal property. However, in recent years, the Scheme has developed into a vital First Response Service. This evolved from
local residents, our members, who were unable to receive a satisfactory police response within a reasonable timeframe. Today, we face a new challenge: the 999-response time for an ambulance is now woefully inadequate. According to figures from the London Ambulance Service, average wait times in excess of eight hours are now commonplace for all but the most critical emergencies, such as heart attacks.
The Security Officer’s role in the upgraded First Response Service is to:
● Preserve life
● Prevent deterioration
● Promote recovery
In response to this deterioration, our aim is to have at least one Security Officer on duty during every shift who is fully trained to provide medical First Response support while a patient awaits the arrival of an ambulance. We are fortunate to have Security Officers trained at FREC 3 and at FREC 4 (the latter, FREC 4 is pre-hospital care).
Our First Response Service includes patrol vehicles carry:
● Basic firefighting equipment,
● First aid kits including trauma kits and oxygen
● Defibrillators: both adult and child which have been already been deployed at least half a dozen times since the introduction.
IMPORTANT:
This service should only be used after you have phoned for an ambulance. Security Officers cannot attend until an ambulance has been called.
● This is a First Response Service only and does not replace the London Ambulance Service.
● This service is not a substitute for visiting A&E or consulting your local GP.
Security Officers DO NOT provide transport to A&E.
